Angel TreeThe students in the career exploration class at Clifton-Clyde High School were assigned the task of identifying needs in the community. They were to look at their own personal and career interests and incorporate these interests with a plan to meet the community's needs. Two students in the class decided to contact a local children’s agency to get information about a giving tree they called the Angel Tree. The agency provided the students with profile cards for disadvantaged children that had suggested gift ideas. Students and community members were encouraged to pick a card off the Christmas tree located in the high school. Gifts were brought, donated, and then delivered to the agency so the children were able to open them on Christmas day.
